10 Operating Tips For Rotary Drilling Rig

1. Check the oil level of each running assembly before drilling.
2. Check all connecting bolts and fastening studs, and tighten them in time in case of looseness.
3. Check whether there is oil leakage, water leakage and air leakage in all parts.

4. Add calcium base grease lubricant to each lubricating point on time.
5. Each shift shall drain the water in the oil tank of the drilling pan.
6. During drilling, the force value of the winch shall be determined according to the size of the drill bit and the geological conditions to keep the drill bit suspended. When the slag discharge is interrupted, the drill bit shall be lifted immediately and lowered slowly after the slag discharge. When stopping drilling, first lift the drill bit and then stop the wind.

7. Before the drill head assembly runs, be sure to turn on the oil pump motor to keep the system in good lubrication condition.
8. The holes shall be covered with wooden boards, and tools and iron parts shall not fall into the holes.
9. In the process of drilling, if the pointer of the ammeter swings sharply and the instantaneous current exceeds the allowable value and the power cannot be cut off automatically, the drilling should be stopped and then started. Instead, the drilling should be started with light weight on bit and slow speed, and the drilling should be resumed after it is normal.
10. Low speed should be used for drilling in rock and sand.
