Bulldozer is a kind of earthwork machinery which can excavate, transport and discard rock and soil. It is widely used in open-pit mine. For example, it is used for building dump, levelling car dump, stacking scattered ore rock, levelling work pan and building site, etc. . It is not only used for auxiliary work, but also for main mining work. Examples include stripping and mining of placer deposits, hauling and boosting of scrapers and ploughs, and lowering of stripping step height with other earth-moving machinery when mining without transportation. Because the crawler bulldozer has better adhesion performance, can play a greater traction, so at home and abroad, the variety and quantity of its products far exceed the tire bulldozer.

High-pressure pipe joints, oil cylinders, floating oil seals, radiators, water pipe joints, such as leakage, if there should be timely exclusion. Whether the electrical system has broken wire, short wire, terminal is loose, if there should be timely exclusion. Oil Pan oil check: in the engine shutdown, should first determine the engine oil pressure gauge, water thermometer is in the normal range, and then take out the oil ruler to see the level should be in the oil ruler, under the scale between the line. If need to add oil, open the oil injection port to add. When checking the oil level, the vehicle should be parked on the level of the ground. When adding oil, do not exceed the“H” mark.
Fuel check of rear axle tank:
(1)the first 250 hours of inspection, maintenance: 1, replacement of fuel filter. 2. Replace the thick and thin oil filters. 3, transmission, rear axle oil replacement (replacement of oil according to the schedule requirements) . 4. Change the oil in the working oil tank. 5. Replace the filter element of the working fuel tank. 6. Replace the final transmission oil. 7. Clean the variable speed steering filter. 8. Fasten the injector mounting screws. Check and adjust engine valve clearance.
(2) every 500 hours of inspection, maintenance: 1, replacement of preservative storage. Close the upper two valves of the preservative reservoir. 3. Twist the cartridge to the left. 4. Apply engine oil to the sealing surface and replace the new components. 5. When installing, fasten 1/2-3/4 turn after the sealing surface and the cover contact. (do not screw too tight)6, after the replacement of open the valve.

Correct undercarriage parts maintenance

(1)keep proper tension of the track
If the tension is excessive, the guide wheel spring tension acts on the track pin and the pin sleeve, the outer circle of the pin and the inner circle of the pin sleeve have been subjected to high extrusion stress, and the pin and the pin sleeve produce premature wear during operation, at the same time, the elastic force of the tension spring of the guide wheel also acts on the guide wheel shaft and shaft sleeve, producing a great surface contact stress, which makes the guide wheel shaft sleeve easy to grind into a semicircle, and the track pitch easy to lengthen, and will reduce the efficiency of mechanical transmission, waste the engine to the drive wheel and track power.
If the track tension is too loose, the track is easy to break away from the guide wheel and support wheel, and the track loses the correct alignment, which makes the running track fluctuate, beat, impact, resulting in abnormal wear of the guide wheel and support wheel.
The adjustment of crawler tension is by filling the oil nozzle of the tension cylinder with butter or releasing butter from the drain nozzle, according to the standard clearance of various models to adjust. When the track pitch is extended to the point that a group of track joints need to be removed, the meshing surface of the driving gear tooth surface and the pin sleeve will also be abnormally worn. At this point, proper treatment should be carried out before the meshing condition deteriorates, such as turning the pin and the pin sleeve over, replace worn out pins and bushings, replace track section assembly, etc. 
(2)keep the guide wheel aligned
Misalignment of guide wheel has serious influence on other parts of walking mechanism, so adjusting the gap between guide wheel guide plate and track frame is the key point to prolong the life of walking mechanism. Adjust with guide plate and bearing between the gasket to correct, if the gap is large, remove the gasket; gap is small, increase the gasket. The standard clearance is 0.5-1.0 mm and the maximum allowable clearance is 3.0 mm.
(3)turn the track pin and the pin sleeve over at an appropriate time
During the wear process of the track pin and the pin sleeve, the pitch of the track shoe is gradually lengthened, which causes the bad meshing between the driving wheel and the pin sleeve, which results in the breakage of the pin sleeve and the abnormal wear of the tooth surface of the driving wheel, which can cause serpentine, flapping and impact, greatly shorten the life of the walking mechanism. When the pitch can not be recovered by adjusting the tension, the track pin and pin cover need to be turned over to get the correct track pitch. There are two methods to determine the turning time of the track pin and the pin sleeve, one is to determine the time when the track pitch is lengthened by 3mm, the other is to determine the time when the outer diameter of the pin sleeve is worn by 3mm.
(4)tighten the bolt and nut in time
When the bolt of the walking mechanism is loose, it is easy to break or lose, causing a series of faults. Routine maintenance should check the following bolts: support wheel and supporting wheel installation bolts, drive gear tooth block installation bolts, crawler plate installation bolts, support wheel guard plate installation bolts, diagonal support bar head installation bolts. The tightening torque of the main bolts refer to the specifications of each model.
(5)timely lubrication
The lubrication of the walking mechanism is very important, a lot of wheel bearings“Burn” and lead to billing is because of oil leakage and not found in time. The following five areas are considered to be possible: from the outside of the retaining ring to the shaft due to poor or damaged o-rings between the retaining ring and the shaft; from poor contact with the floating ring or O-ring defects, oil leakage from the outer side of the retaining ring to the supporting wheel (supporting wheel, guiding wheel, driving wheel) , due to the bad o-ring between the supporting wheel (supporting wheel, guiding wheel, driving wheel) and the bushing, oil leakage from bushings to rollers; oil leakage at the fueling plug due to looseness of the fueling port plug or damage to the seat hole of the tapered plug seal; oil leakage between the stopper cover and rollers due to poor o-ring. Therefore, usually should pay attention to check the above parts, and in accordance with the parts of the lubrication cycle regularly add, replace.
(6)check for cracks
The crack of walking mechanism should be checked in time, and repaired and strengthened in time
